Our story
YouConvey is the career-long project of Eddie Goldsmith, a conveyancer of over 30 years. Having qualified as a solicitor back in 1979, Eddie was responsible for building one of the largest conveyancing firms in the UK.
Throughout his career, Eddie experienced first-hand the length of time it takes to complete a home sale and how stressful the experience can be – even with a standard transaction.
Recognising that the UK’s current conveyancing process is not fit for purpose for 21st century customers, Eddie established YouConvey to revolutionise the industry by shortening timescales and creating more certainty for both customers and introducers.

Having been a residential conveyancer most of my working life I am passionate about the industry and its stakeholders. I have experienced and seen the pain of moving home and I am convinced that as an industry we can work together to create a more joined up approach with less stress to both the customer and their conveyancer.
Alex Goldsmith-Williams
Co-Founder & Home Move Advisor
Alex Goldsmith is the Co-Founder of YouConvey, working alongside her father, Eddie, since its launch. This father and daughter team are responsible for the daily operation of the business and future direction and strategy of YouConvey. Armed with a Business Degree and extensive experience in Marketing and PR, Alex’s business skills align seamlessly with Eddie’s specialist conveyancing skills, meaning that all bases are covered.
On a day-to-day basis, Alex ensures that every customer is seamlessly onboarded and ready for the conveyancers to commence with the legal process. She updates customers weekly to guarantee transparency and answer any questions they may have.
